About Us
DE SUAR is a spa and skincare brand built around a simple belief: thoughtful care should help people feel comfortable, confident, and cared for in their own skin. Our name brings together founder Deisy Suarez’s name—DE-isy and SUAR-ez—and our approach brings together her experience in esthetics, therapeutic massage, hospitality, and beauty.
The Spa
Our first spa opened in Downtown Los Angeles in 2010. What began as a personal vision for attentive, individualized care has grown into a California spa community with destinations in Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Monterey, and Santa Cruz, alongside Deisy’s private residential studio in Sherman Oaks. Each setting has its own character, but the purpose is the same: create space for people to pause, reconnect, and receive care that respects their needs.
At DE SUAR, a spa visit is more than an appointment on a calendar. It is time set aside for someone whose days may be filled with work, family, travel, and caring for others. We want that time to feel worthwhile—from a thoughtful consultation and a welcoming treatment room to clear recommendations after the service.

“Where communicating with your body means listening with our hands” expresses the attention we bring to our work. We begin by listening to your goals, preferences, and concerns. Then we use professional judgment to help you choose an appropriate experience, whether you are looking for a facial, therapeutic massage, body care, or a restorative moment of relaxation.
Our menu combines hands-on techniques with selected treatment technologies. Services vary by location, and we believe choosing the right treatment matters more than choosing the newest one. We explain what a service involves, discuss realistic expectations, and adapt care within the scope of the treatment and each professional’s training.
From the Treatment Room to Your Daily Ritual
DE SUAR skincare carries that same philosophy home. Our collection includes facial cleansers, toners, serums, moisturizers, masque treatments, and essentials for body and hair. We want skincare to feel approachable: products with a clear place in your routine, directions you can follow, and recommendations connected to how your skin feels.
